The Marginpar head office is completely new and equipped with all modern gadgets. It is a pleasant, inspiring workplace that we can be proud of and that is completely attuned to the new way of working. At every stage.
At our docks, for instance, the aircraft panels are now unloaded fully automatically. Pits have been fitted in the floor for the plates to sink into, so that our employees can un-stack the boxes of flowers at a comfortable height. The cold chain is correct from front to back as well, as properly conditioned transport and storage increases quality and extends the vase life of the flowers. At office level, the new building is also equipped to meet our growth ambitions. With spacious offices, a work café, roof terrace and an conditioned test room.

SPECIAL LOCATION
Sierteeltstraat is part of Aalsmeer-Oost, Royal FloraHolland's newest development location. A new product street has been built at the back, giving us direct access to the market place and our sales partners in Europe. This allows us to work even more efficiently and reduces our road transport by 50 to 60%.
SUSTAINABLE
The building meets the BREEAM sustainability rating 'very good'. To achieve this rating, the building is heavily insulated, for example.
