Marginpar relocates: even closer to the marketplace
More flexible and efficient through connection with Royal FloraHolland.
For decades, Marginpar, grower and importer, has been bringing the most beautiful summer flowers from its farms in Kenya, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and Tanzania to the Legmeerdijk in Aalsmeer. Where the Dutch Marginpar team works with great care to check, distribute and market more than 100 different varieties. Things are going well. In fact, Marginpar has become one of the largest suppliers of exclusive summer flowers. Worldwide. This requires a scale, but above all a degree of complexity in processing that the current premises cannot offer.
Designed for the future
Therefore, in November 2022, Marginpar will move to a location that will be optimally equipped for the ever more sophisticated processing that the market demands. With a flexibility that offers Marginpar opportunities for further development into the distant future.
The new 9000 m2 building to be constructed by Hercuton will be visible from the N201 ring road and, most importantly, will be connected to Royal FloraHolland's product street.
Committed to the cooperation
As a member supplier, by choosing this location Marginpar explicitly commits itself to the cooperation and its objectives. It also contributes visibly to strengthening the marketplace. A position that came about in a joint process with Royal FloraHolland in which the various interests were attuned to each other. Because of this strategic connection, Marginpar can focus even more on flexible, efficient service to its customers. RFH also gives a strong signal that they want to focus on constructive partnerships that contribute to the healthy continuation of the cooperation.
