Special Days
In the beginning of 2020, the Annual Special Days Wedding fair took place in Poznan, Poland. Designer Anna Lamot-Bach organized the wedding show and showed many amazing designs to the public. Anna used a variety of Marginpar flowers and had a strict vision about what flower needed to go where.
Anna is a Polish wedding decorator, living in Ireland for 13 years. She organizes floral wedding workshops and won several awards. “Working in a floral industry for 20 years I realize the most amazing customers are those who love natural flowers and a garden style.”
Anna’s inspiration comes from the heart, not Instagram: “That’s what I demonstrate on stage; my inspiration comes from feelings, family stories, where your roots lie. For example, for a Scottish friend I made a bouquet full of Eryngium (the most popular English flower for a wedding) and added Phlox, Campanula, Ammi Visnaga, Clematis Amazing® Shira, Panicum 'Splash' and Talinum 'Long John'.
”Flowers have meaning, and they can have a different significance for each of us.
A second time around
“Lots of brides are getting married for the second time, maybe even moving into a new religion or culture. That makes it extra important to create a personal, wonderful look. It’s so important to listen to their stories before making a design.
Something for every bride
Themed weddings are no exception these days. For the bride who’s fascinated by series like Games of Thrones, Anna made this mysterious dragonfly bouquet with Ammi Visnaga, Scabiosa Red Velvet Scoop®, Eryngium Sirius Questar®, Astrantia Star® of Africa and Astilbe Vision in Pink.
Classic Blue
Following the Pantone colour of the year Anna used lots of purples and blues in this long bouquet with Clematis, Campanula, Eryngium, Aster and Delphinium.
Aromatherapy
The communion floral show took place on the second day. “I can vividly remember how my own daughter had her communion and how excited she was to have lots of odd colourful flowers on that day. Little girls generally love flowers, but I also put a few herbs in my designs. Like rosemary and thyme. The smell of these herbs makes everyone calm and relax.
Anna made floral headbands, bracelets, floral pompoms and small bouquets.

Right: headband with Astilbe and Limonium plus a little bit of rosemary to calm nerves.
