From Russia with love - Floral Fundamentals

The Floral Fundamentals home edition took off again during the summer months, this time with the help of our passionate ambassadors in Russia.

The home editions

Due to COVID-19, the quarterly Floral Fundamentals inspiration weekends fell through. International designers from all over the world normally come to Aalsmeer, for an inspiring floral weekend, and make stunning designs to share with other florists. Luckily, the Floral Fundamentals team swiftly organized a new plan: the home editions. Flowers are brought to the designers, and they make and photograph the designs safely at home.

The first edition was such a huge success that a second one was unavoidable. Natalia Zizko, Anna Popova, Olga Sharova, Alena Chudopal, Ulviya Akhmedova, Roman Steinhauer, Dmitry Turcan, Vadim Kazanskiy, Mihail Chudnovets and Andrew Filonenko, all Russian designers, plus Marijus Gvildys from Lithuania and Hanneke Frankema from the Netherlands, worked their magic again and came up with many beautiful designs. We collected them for you on our Pinterest board.

What's next

The photographs will be used in international printed media, online and on social. We are very grateful to Floral Fundamentals, the team and ambassadors, know how to make the best of a difficult situation. And a special thanks to importer and wholesaler 7Flowers for the distribution of the flowers.
