New Group Managing Director Marginpar
Marginpar welcomes Jonathan Ralling
Marginpar is excited to announce the appointment of Jonathan Ralling as new Group Managing Director. Ralling joins the company with more than 20 years of experience in the horticultural industry with a proven track record on executive management level. He is an engaging, driven, analytical leader who says he 'enjoys the challenge as much as the outcome'.
Building leadership capacity
Marginpar is coming out of its 2019-2021 transition period, following the merger of Marginpar Netherlands, Marginpar Ethiopia and Kariki/Carzan Kenya. During that time Marginpar saw the launch of the One World, One Brand and One Aim; the move to a customer centric approach, as well as the roll-out of a new organisational structure. This new Group Managing Director role is focused on building leadership capacity for the group as it moves forward.
Operational focus
Jonathan Ralling will have an operational focus and will allow Marginpar’s co-CEO’s (Richard -Kiki- Fernandes and Rob Koning) to concentrate on strategy and external outlook. Jonathan will take on the key challenges of helping the group meet market demand, implement the new organisational structure, work on the continuous improvement of business processes and plan for sustainable growth.
Familiar with challenges
Given his background in floriculture, which included working in Southern Africa, Kenya, UK and The Netherlands, Jonathan is very familiar with the challenges in meeting market demand and we expect him to bring pragmatic solutions, ways to influence key drivers and inspire with a data-driven way of working.
Marginpar warmly welcomes Jonathan to the team.
