Italian wedding design

Close to 200 wedding designers, 15 preferred suppliers, 1 bride and many many flowers all came together in the rolling hills of Tuscany, at Evento Fiori, organised by Fleurametz.

The event, at Agriturismo Diacceroni, was decorated by floral designers Samantha Wilhelm and Marloes Joore. They also gave inspiring workshops, where they showed how to make a floral backdrop, and made gorgeous corsages, floral bracelets and hair accessories for the visitors. They showed flowers that some designers had never seen before and shared valuable tips and tricks. 

The goal of this meet & greet? To inspire Italian wedding designers and introduce them to the products of the preferred suppliers. It was busy at the Marginpar stand. Some products attracted extra attention, like the new bicoloured Clematis Amazing® Sevilla (which we brought as a sneak preview), Scutellaria 'Tinkerbell' and the versatile Talinum 'Long John'. And of course, the very exclusive white Clematis Amazing® Vienna and the graceful Gloriosa Fifty Shades could not be forgotten.

It was very valuable for us to learn from the Italian florist and wedding market. The demand for wedding flowers is high from mid-April until October, and we are noticing that after two years of COVID, the wedding season is finally fully starting again!
