Clematis Amazing® Tokyo

In 2006, the first clematis cut flower from the Amazing® series was traded at Royal FloraHolland. Since then, the series has been further expanded. Tokyo was introduced in 2018, but due to its popularity, this highly exclusive variety was temporarily withdrawn from the market to be propagated. Since the summer of 2024, it has returned, and we are very pleased about that.

The flower of the Clematis Amazing® Tokyo has various shades of pink. As a result, it may look sweet and innocent, but Tokyo is the strongest variety of them all! That is why we grow it to a length of 80 cm, with six flowers per stem. It is so robust that it opens all of them, from the bottom to the top.

An additional beautiful feature is that the flowers face upwards when used horizontally. This effect is called geotropism, a reaction to the combination of gravity and the plant hormone 'auxin'.
