Aster Teeny Tiny Blue

Aster comes from the ancient Greek word 'astere', which means star and refers to the shape of the flower. The Germanic population believed that the smell of burnt leaves from dead asters chased away poisonous snakes and evil spirits for the winter. In the modern floral language, aster stands for love and patience.
