Aster Flash

Aster comes from the ancient Greek word ‘astere’ which means star and refers to the shape of the flower. The Germanic people believed that the aroma of burnt leaves from dead asters chased away poisonous snakes and evil spirits for the winter. In modern floral language, aster stands for love and patience.
