The overall purpose of the position is to drive a successful implementation of the Company IT Strategy and move the company IT systems/structures to the next level. The role holder will implement the IT Strategy of the Organisation in collaboration with Cluster Heads across the Group Business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & DELIVERABLES (100%)

  • Team Leadership of the IT Domain
  • Building out our new IT platform.
  • Reassess and redefine the organisation-wide standards in hardware, software, network and other IT services
  • Evaluation and strategic advice/plan on current software applications
  • Strategic development and implementation of hardware systems
  • Strategic plan and implementation of Office 365 (applications) for the MP Group
  • Development of Group software system in some of key domains such as Finance and HR etc.
  • Support of new IT initiatives and guidance on development/implementation
  • Secured infrastructure (securing internet (bandwidth))
  • IT/ Data security
  • Advisory and adoption of new technology
  • Set up Support Team per farm as well as guiding/managing the teams
  • Organise internal training (programme) on IT
  • Risk identification and reporting

CRITERIA

 

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in ICT, Computer Science or its equivalent (a must)
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the IT Profession preferably in similar roles in terms of scale and complexity
  • Certification in Project Management, ICT infrastructure, Information Security, CCNA
  • Membership with ICT Professional body
  • Agile Project management skills (a must)

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with big data and building reliable and scalable systems
  • Experience with LANS/WANS, Windows and Microsoft environment
  • Experience in Project and Change Management
