Achillea Discodip Red
The Achillea Discodip Red is a striking appearance in bouquets. The flower umbels are full of brightly coloured red flowers with a yellow heart. Other names for this flower are ‘thousand-leaf’, and plumajillo (Spanish for 'little feather') referring to the very fine feathered leaves of the Achillea. In antiquity, Achillea was known as herbal militaris, for its use in stanching the flow of blood from wounds.
We are not the only ones to admire this flower. At our farms, the flat umbels of this plant are very popular with butterflies because of its sweet scent.
